Administration
Breakwater's security administration
offers expert firewall administration
services to our clients. This contract
service is appropriate for small and
large organizations that may not have the
resources, expertise, or desire to
administer their own firewall. Our
experienced engineers can augment your IS
staff during busy times or provide
full-time administration of your Raptor
or Firewall-1 firewall and other
associated VPNs, at your site or remotely
from Breakwater's Security Management
Operations Center (SMOC). This ongoing
maintenance service can free you up to
focus your attention on your critical

Product Phone Support
Breakwater offers extended phone support
contracts for clients who want access to
Breakwater's experienced security
engineers for their phone support. Our
engineers have practical, real-world
experience with Raptor and Firewall-1
firewalls, Security Dynamics
authentication products, and know how to
efficiently administer their features.
This support contract may be used to
augment the standard vendor support
contract on an as-needed or full-time
basis.
Firewall
Logfile Analysis & Reporting
Firewalls log a wealth of threat and
usage information in addition to
maintaining a client's security. If the
logs are not regularly reviewed, this
information goes untapped. Breakwater
will analyze the client's firewall
logfiles daily and weekly, then summarize
the threat and usage findings in a
management level report that is delivered
electronically and can be easily read by
security staff and upper management.
Vulnerability
Analysis
The Breakwater Vulnerability Analysis
will determine the security of the
client's external network, and will show
whether their systems and networks are
susceptible to widely-available tools
which can expose their data. Our experts
will scan the systems the client
specifies, and will deliver a report
which outlines the exposures, if any, and
the measures that may be necessary to
reduce the vulnerability.
Outsourced
Security Management
Breakwater provides custom firewall and
security outsourcing based on contracted
service levels for availability,
administration response time and
surveillance. Breakwater's outsourced
firewalls include all necessary hardware,
software, and configuration to maintain
firewall service at those contracted
service levels. Unlike ISP-based
outsourced firewalls, you are free to
select or change ISPs at any time. This
service is intended for clients who want
to eliminate large capital budget
expenditures for security infrastructure
and staffing, and who value technology
change protection.
